Back in the day (a great Erykah Badu song, by the way) I might've gotten a No-Prize for pointing this out. Check out this panel from 1977's What If (vol. 1) #4 featuring the Invaders:
Here we see the Original Human Torch and his sidekick Toro battling the hordes of the android villain Adam II. It seems the Torch doesn't know his right from his left.
But he can be forgiven. He is an android, after all!

...And don't pad them with modern Matt Fraction or Warren Ellis crap either!
Should have saved that for the Friday Night Fights. It fits the theme rather well.
